Smith Chason College and its schools, WCUI School of Medical Imaging and Smith Chason School of Nursing, is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and licensed to operate in California by the Bureau for Private Post-Secondary Education (BPPE) www.bppe.ca.gov and approved to operate by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education (AZPPE) https://ppse.az.gov. For those programs that also carry programmatic accreditation or approval, the appropriate agency is listed with that program’s information below.

Title IX Compliance

Smith Chason College is committed to providing a work and educational environment free of unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Smith Chason College is committed to providing a prompt response to reports of Sexual Harassment and conducting the applicable Grievance Procedures in a manner that is impartial and equitable to all parties. 

Statement of Non-Discrimination

In accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Smith Chason College does not discriminate on the basis of sex/gender in its employment practices or its educational programs or activities. Smith Chason College also prohibits Sexual Harassment (as defined below) committed against persons in the United States as part of its education programs or activities. 

Smith Chason College prohibits retaliation against any person opposing discrimination or participating in any discrimination investigation or complaint process internally or externally. Reports of misconduct, questions regarding Title IX, and concerns about non-compliance should be directed to the Title IX Coordinator. Smith Chason College reserves the right to make changes to this policy as necessary, and once those changes are posted online, they are in effect. If government laws, regulations, or court decisions change requirements in a way that affects this Policy, the Policy will be construed to comply with the most recent government regulations or holdings.
